Updated Missed Class Policy
The Brookings Arts Council enjoys providing high quality classes and experiences for adults, teens, and children. Each class requires a minimum number of students enrolled to ensure adequate accommodations, materials, and payment for the instructor.
As we make decisions regarding classes based on a variety of factors, including the number of students enrolled, we are generally unable to offer make-up classes, credits, or refunds for classes missed if notice is not given within 48 hours of the scheduled class start time. If you are unable to make it to a class and notify us more than 48 hours in advance, a refund will be sent to you. Credits for classes will not be held.
In the event of an instructor or BAC issued cancellation at any point after registration, a refund will be processed or the class will be rescheduled if possible.
Off-Website Registration & Payment Policy
In the event you would prefer to register for a class via phone, email, social media, or in-person, payment must be given 5 days before the date of the class.
This especially pertains to certain classes that are in high demand, require extra preparation, are over $35, or expensive or pre-ordered supplies. These classes include but are not limited to the following:
Stained glass workshops
Pottery wheel lessons
Bisqueware glazing classes
Floral arranging
Pet portraiture painting classes
